TECHNICAL RESCUE 

RAPID INTERVENTION TEAM 

Effective August 17, 2000 at 1900 hours, the Cumberland and Falmouth Fire Departments will begin a new automatic response agreement to provide a safer environment for the Departments’ firefighters. Squad 1 will be assigned automatically on all Falmouth desk boxes. The box number will be Box 20.

The firefighters responding with the Squad will be limited to RIT trained firefighters only. The minimum crew size will be 2 RIT members and the maximum will be 4 RIT members.
